I had lots of fun with Vicky, I loved the games she would bring and play with me.
I’m now running language groups that are improving narrative skills results. I worked with Vicky jointly and now I run them independently. I can’t believe the confidence this has given me.
I left university feeling like a failure. Working with Vicky around the neuroscience behind autism is helping me recognise that maybe being me is something to celebrate after all.
Vicky is attentive, caring and kind. She is up to date with the latest pedagogical research and uses this to inform her practice. My students love working with her and look forward to her sessions every week. Pupils who do not usually engage with learning tasks or sit at the table will always engage with Vicky’s sessions. The individuals are more confident, and their self esteem has really improved as a result of Vicky’s input.
I can’t explain how amazing Victoria Germain is. She came into our lives in 2019 for my daughter Ruby. Her approach, her kindness, her knowledge and the connection she built with Ruby, myself and my family was amazing. To be a new mum with a child with needs was tough and she became a lifeline. I honestly believe without her Ruby would not be where she is now. We are still in contact now and she checks in and advises me as needed. I would say she has become a dear friend to the family and my daughter thrived under her care. She also helped me with my son when I asked her for an opinion.
She just genuinely cares about the children and parents and has such passion for her job. I will never be able to put into enough words how amazing she is and how grateful myself, and my family, are to her for connecting and helping with my daughter. She always went the extra mile and was always available. We miss you Vick so much and thank you.
